Login to cPanel and click on the Email Accounts icon located in the MAIL section.
From the mail menu, select Change Password next to the mail account whose password you wish to modify.
A new panel will be opened. Fill in the new password and click on the Change Password button to save it.
Permissions can be changed at cPanel - "File Manager" - select files/folder - click "Change...
Go to File Manager and choose “Settings”: Choose "Show hidden files" and press "Save":
